The Turkish community in Western Australia celebrates Republic Day with TACH's Turkish Republic


TACH was proud to host the 4th Biennial Turkish Republic Ball on the 31st of October 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Perth, celebrating the 92nd Anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.

The Ball was a huge success, with 245 attendees, including the following special guests

  • Honourable Michael Sutherland MLA, Member for Mount Lawley, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, representing the Premier, and his wife Councillor Michelle Sutherland

  • Hon Alanna Clohesy MLC, Member for East Metropolitan Region, representing the Hon Mark McGowan MLA, Leader of the Opposition, and partner Mr Phil O’Donoghue

  • Councillor and President of the International Business Council of Western Australia, Margaret Hall, and husband Michael Hall

  • Martin Landauer, Business Relations Manager, Western Australia State Office Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade

  • Mrs Gabby Ryan, Member of RSLWA’s Board of Directors, and her husband Mick Ryan

Exciting entertainment was provided on the night by Grup Mozaiq (band), TACH’s Folk Dance Group, Green Embassy (Fashion Show), and Laziza Bellydance, presented by the lovely MC Cagla Gungor.
