In September 2013, TACH organised the screening of two Turkish films, Deli Deli Olma and Yangin Var at the Cygnet Cinema in Como, Western Australia. Guests enjoyed finger foods before the movie in the lobby of the historic cinema.

 

Built in 1938 and a landmark in South Perth, the Cygnet Cinema is a heritage-listed art-deco building, and the only cinema in Perth at the time still able to screen 35mm film reels.

 

The Turkish Film Nights were supported by the Republic of Turkey, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Turkish Consulate of Melbourne.
